HAL East Primary & High School established in 1960 with 112 students grew into a premium institution known for its unwavering commitment to academic excellence and holistic development.
Originally founded has Primary School upgraded to a High School in 2001 and Co-Education in 2021 embracing more inclusive and diverse learning environment.
Today school proudly serves around 1300 students guided by a dedicated team of 47 staff with a strong focus on nurturing intellect, character and creativity.
School boasts glorious achievements across Academics, Sports and Culturals. School has secured 100% results in the SSLC Board Examinations. Kum. Deepthi Bhat (2018) and Kum. Prakruthi L. N (2022) secured 5th rank in Karnataka SSLC Board Exams. As an acknowledgment School Toppers and Headmistress receive Awards, Certificate and Cash rewards from various Department Associations like High School Headmasters Association, Primary Teachers Association and CMD, HAL.
The school takes pride in receiving rewards, certificate and cash prizes from Kannada Sahithya Parishath and HAL Kannada Rajyotsava Committee for scoring the Highest Marks in Kannada SSLC Board Exams.

The Head of the Institution, Mrs. Elizabeth Mala, has been recognized and honoured by prestigious institutions such as the HAL Fine Arts Society, Sri Sewahi Foundation, HAL, Education Department Sports Association, Visweshwaraiah Pre-University, Sacred Heart Pre-University and the Alumini. Moreover, several of our esteemed teachers have been honored with the Best Teacher Award on Teachers’ Day, a testament to their unwavering commitment to shaping young minds.
As a testament to the commitment, Seven Teachers received the Best Teacher’s Award on Teachers Day - Mrs. R.
